Prayer

"Take this most seriously: A yes on earth is yes in heaven; ano on earth is no in heaven. What you say to one another is eternal. I mean this. When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, My Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I'll be there." Matthew 18:19-20 (The Message Bible)

Country Alliance Church is devoting the month of May to prayer. God asks us to participate in His Work several ways and the first way is to pray.
The congregation at Country Alliance takes that job seriously and we believe in the power of prayer.

This is a prayer guide to list specific topics that everyone at Country Alliance will be praying for each day throughout the mont of May.
We are hoping that you will join us as we pray our way through May!

In prayer there is a connection between what God does and what you do. You can't get forgiveness from God, for instance, without also forgiving others.
If you refuse to do your part, you cut yourself off from God's part.
Matthew 6:14 (The Message Bible)

Can it be that God will actually move into our neighborhood? Why, the cosmos itself isn't large enough to give you breathing room, let alone this Temple I've built. Even so, I'm bold to ask: Pay attention to these my prayers, both intercessory and personal, O God, my God. Listen to my prayers, energetic and devout, that I'm setting before you right now. Keep your eyes open to this Temple day and night, this place you promised to dignify with your Name. And listen to the prayers that I pray in this place. And listen to your people Israel when they pray at this place. Listen from your home in heaven and when you hear, forgive.

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.

A Day of Thanksgiving Prayers

Thank you for participating in our Pray Through May month. But don't stop now! God is always waiting to talk with you and longs for each of us to bring everything to Him in prayer.

Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting god know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
